Kingsoft Free Office 2013 - Brief Introduction of New Features

The 2013 version of Kingsoft Office offers a ton of great new features in addition to refining some of the old ones. With our three key applications--Writer,  Spreadsheets, and Presentation--you can produce top quality documents.

Writer 

• Paragraph Adjustment Tool. Advanced editing tools. Just click the paragraph editing icon and you can then change spacing between paragraphs as well as line indentation of just the first line or of all lines. 
• Line Numbers. In Writer you can also add line numbers by clicking Page Layout and then Line Numbers; the line numbers will appear to the left of the text. 
• Also, under the Insert tab you will find options for Headers and Footers, Page Numbers, and Watermarks. 
• Plus you can do your editing in style with your choice of three interfaces all in our convenient multiple-tab setup designed to reduce clutter on your toolbar and facilitate jumping between documents.
• The Undo feature. We understand that editing is not always an easy process. In Kingsoft 2013 if you click the save button but find you want to take back your last edits, don’t worry; now you can undo even after you save. 

Spreadsheets

• Spreadsheets now supports over a million rows and more than 16,000 columns for an even more complete data analysis. 
• Multiple criterial filter. Just select the cells you want to work with and click the AutoFilter button. Spreadsheets now supports filtering via multiple criteria, so you can select and deselect whatever criteria suits your needs. Or you could even create your own custom AutoFilter.
• Goal Seek function. Spreadsheets now has an added goal seek feature which can be found under the Data tab. The Goal Seek feature allows you to alter data in formulas to project different possible results.
• There are also 37 other added functions under Formulas in a variety of categories that make for easier data analysis. 

Presentation

Presentation makes it simple to wow people with a visually inspiring presentation using a multitude of exciting features.

• You can use Kingsoft’s existing templates by clicking the Presentation button and opening a new document from other templates for a more polished look, or create your own template and add it to this same tab. 
• In addition, slide effects can be found under the Animation tab and can do wonders for spicing up your slide show. 
• And by simply going to the Insert tab and clicking Package file you can package files into folders for easier storage and sharing.
